It is obvious that Crystal Ball are not trying to operate on a life changing level. This music is meant to party to, to bang your head, to relax with, etc. So nothing too fancy, just hard rocking songs delivered with attitude and style.
And is anything wrong with that? Not in my book. Despite the lack of pretence, or better yet, because of that, this album is great to put on and enjoy. Little cold beer aside, volume set to reasonable amounts and your mind drifting off to faraway places…ahhh, nice.
So no, nothing new, but still recommended for occasions when you do not want to put your grey cells to work and just like to enjoy quality hard rock. That is what the Swiss dudes deliver. Yeah!
