For me, this is the fifth album from this Spanish band that arrived in my mailbox. And much to my surprise, it is largely an instrumental album. Starting with the title track and followed by 2 more shorter songs, of which I like Elvira best. Very strong groove and riffs here. And then we are treated by 2 tracks clocking in at over 12 (Corey) and almost 15 minutes (Hexe). Here the band take the time to develop their ideas and explore many sides to their talents. Still, their trademark Bonham drums, accompanied by the strong guitar work, push the tracks forward with lots of energy. The addition of synths gives it a more prog feel, but that is actually a very nice extra colour in their palette. With these track times, it will not be a surprise that the songs go left and right. There are even some (female or children) choirs to trick you into thinking the vocals have arrived. But in all honesty, I think this album works just fine as is. The album closes with a remake of a 2013 track.
Another strong effort from the guys and surely worth checking if you have missed it so far.
