Arjan van der Linde proudly presents: ‘River of disorder’ tells the story of a six year old boy without friends or a regular school to go to. Always happy, always singing, blessed with a sensitive character and always good-natured. He literally floats through life. Unfortunately, his autistic handicap makes communicating a challenge for him and the people who care for him.
Like living in separate worlds and longing for understanding and patience. We both deal with this situation in unique ways. That’s why I wrote this song for him – one day he will understand the meaning behind the words. I hope his future will be bright – isn’t that what every father wants for his son? The boys’ name is Teun and he’s my son.
Video is made by Erik Woltermann, and a review of the album can be found here.
